14. When Police Officers are transferred to some other civil employment under the Government of Hongkong or to any other public employment with the sanction of the Governor, they will not, in the absence of any special arrangement to the contrary, retain a claim to pension under these Regulations but will be dealt with under the ordinary regulations for civil servants or under such special arrangements as may be made at the time of the transfer.

ADDITIONAL POLICE PENSION REGULATION.

When Police pensioners are appointed to some other civil post under the Government of Hong Kong or to any other public employment with the sanction of the Governor, provided that they have served 10 years in such employment, they will not, in the absence of any special arrangement to the contrary, retain a claim to pension under these regulations, but they will be entitled to a pension calculated as if their service in the Police Force and in such employment had been continuous service. Should their service in such employment be for a less period than ten years they will be entitled to a gratuity in accordance with the Civil Service pension minute in respect of such service and to their Police Pensions, which may have been in the meantime in abeyance.

Officers Tunie Dark-blue cloth edged all round with black mohair braid 1 inch broad. Collar turned over edged with black mohair 1 inch broad. Skirt Rounded off in front closed behind lined with black. On each side of breast 5 loops of square black cord with netted caps and drops fastening with black olivets. On each back seam a line of same cord forming eyes at top passing under a netted cap at the waist below which it is doubled, and ending in Austrian knot reaching to bottom of skirt. On each shoulder square cord loop with black netted button. Figured braiding above mohair on collar, and c. s. r. 1/4 inch mohair round cuff with figured braiding above and below extending to 1 1/2 inches from bottom of cuff. D. S. P. Austrian knot of black square cord on sleeve with tracing of braided eyes all round it extending to 8 inches from bottom of cuff. A. S. P. Austrian knot on sleeve with tracing of plain braid round it extending to 7 inches from bottom of cuff. Mohair braid To be striped or ribbed. Trousers Dark-blue cloth 2 inches black oakleaf mohair braid down side seam. Spurs Silver plated. C. S. P. Steel. D. S. P. For mounted duties Buck skins over boots. Pantaloons Military pattern, silver chain and spike. Helmet Silver badge of royal arms. Blue and white puggaree twisted.
